St. Michael’s First Communion program takes place in the spring of the year for our Second Grade students.  The program is family oriented giving parents as the primary educators the main responsibility for the immediate preparation of their children for the sacrament of Eucharist.  The program begins with an initial session just for the parents to receive and review the materials for the program.  The parents then work through the materials with their children over a eight-week period, which comes to a culmination with the First Communion Liturgy in April.

 PROGRAM:  Silver Burdett’s,  The Gift of the Eucharist —The program covers the different parts of the Mass with emphasis on reception of Holy Communion.

 FEE:  $10.00 per student
